What is mutual aid? How can we look at both biblical and contemporary examples of this practice and apply them in our community? In our August workshop, presenter Kenya Cummings will take us through mutual aid 101. They’ll start with a definition and brief history of mutual aid. They will then look at biblical examples of mutual aid, and explore how mutual aid looks in different contexts. They’ll also provide additional resources for continued engagement with this important work.

This is a 60 minute lecture-based workshop with a time for discussion and questions at the end. The workshop is open to everyone, and will be recorded. We’ll be sending a link to the video out to all ticketholders after the session, so you’ll be able to view the event even if you can’t participate on the day.
